I don't think anybody could look at lvling as a waste of time... even those people who hate lvling. Finding out that you're way ahead of where you thought is always nice.
So, there I am, lvl77... finally able to slow down a bit. What to do next? Well, let's see... I can start hunting Loque'nahak, the Spirit Beast... sounds boring... though, I do make a killing from mining saronite deposits and extracting crystalized elements from gas clouds.
Oh, what about that LSD Wasp of DOOM that Brk was raving about... it's supposed to be made untameable in the upcoming 3.0.8 patch. Let's see, what level is that baby? 78, huh? Okay... I'm about halfway to 78. I could probably wait and get this wasp later... what's today? Monday... hmm... tomorrow's maintenance day. There's a chance that patch could drop. Let's check WoWInsider for clues... there's mention, but nobody's willing to bet anything... Better play it safe.

And so I fly on over to the wasp hive and venture down into the Queen's chamber. It appears a Death Knight has just finished killing her for the Frenzyheart quest.
